Steve Masiello's offer from South Florida has been pulled after it was learned that he never actually graduated from the University of Kentucky.
Tuesday morning, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reported Masiello had been offered and verbally accepted a five-year deal worth more than $1 million a year to become USF's coach.
Masiello attended Kentucky from the fall of 1996 until the summer of 2000 but never earned his degree.
Masiello is the head coach at Manhattan.

On the SEC All-Defensive Team along with Young are Willie Cauley-Stein, Jordan Mickey, Josh Richardson and Scottie Wilbekin.
Joining Randle on the SEC All-Freshman Team by Shannon Hale, Damian Jones, Jarrell Martin, Jordan Mickey, Bobby Portis, Sindarius Thornwell and James Young.
